Poem: Indoguna

It's so fast.

I've started missing that route
The route to work I always took
When I got down from the bus
And walked there so fast

The two stray dogs that wait upon each other
The leaves on the ground clothed by my Father
The blue building with workers dislodging beer
The building next to it, that company so dear

The people inside whom I'll always love
The guys from the store who laugh when I cough
The girls in the office who prepare my breakfast
The guys doing sales doing silly things and wash away the loneliness

Indoguna oh Indoguna
How I miss you
How I miss the pantry
Where I make my coffee

Indoguna oh Indoguna
I miss the sticker machine
And the SAP system
Which always gives us problems

Time really passed damn fast

Poem: Growing up

Look at her
I know you're already doing it
Look at her
Why are you making me your misfit?

Can we turn the clock around
And the time to rewind?
To the time when we didn't make a sound
And it's still each other that we find?

May God lead us to His Way
May He erase our shattered past
For His good, pleasing and perfect Way
Can mend these broken hearts

May we live a life of holiness
Keeping each other in daily prayers
May we remember each other
For our lives can't be pressed
